40 weeks!
And no action to report. I’m feeling pretty good, but today feels like she’s having another growth spurt – maybe that’ll be nice encouragement to move on to a bigger and better home!
This week has been mellow & fun. We went to our friend Kyle’s work tailgate party at an A’s game on Saturday and to the brand new Treasure Island Flea Market on Sunday. Then Monday we helped Will & Rachel move into their cute new apartment (okay, I just did a lot of door holding) and had dinner at Straw for (soon-to-be uncle) Ryan’s birthday! Straw was really fun, it’s carnival themed and has some out of control menu items like a donut hamburger, blackberry ribs, peanut butter & bacon pie, etc. We indulged in the best way possible.
Today we finally finished watching the iPad birthing class we downloaded from Baby Center, and this afternoon we’re headed to the farmer’s market. Oh we also finished the knobs for the nursery dresser/changing table. I’ll post a picture soon, they turned out really cute!
Back to my belly – the doctor predicts she’s 7.5 – 8 pounds already! And that was last week, I wonder what she’ll say at our appointment tomorrow! She had us go ahead and schedule a date to induce, just in case. So, if need be, we’ll go in on the evening of June 6th and hopefully say hello on the 7th!
