I often lament over the fact that we have no backyard. Every issue of Sunset Magazine that graces our kitchen table makes me drool over glorious gardens and eco-luxe patio furniture. Okay, maybe more than that, I just wish we had some grass for Tank to pee on without a leash.
But, for the time being, we are gardenless – that doesn’t mean we don’t live literally across the street from a 1000+ acre park! It dawned on me last week that Tilly and I should eat our lunch in the park at least once a week. I won’t feel pressured to spend the whole afternoon there, just an hour tops.
So that’s what we did last Friday. A quick little picnic on the lawn of the Conservatory of Flowers. Hello, heaven on earth, don’t mind if I do!
