In the past week Tilly has sprouted 4 teeth! She’s been gnawing on her pointer finger like crazy and is now the proud owner of 6 total teeth. I can hardly believe it.
AND, in my proudest motherhood moment so far, Tilly has officially moved on from bottles. Our pediatrician recommended we quit cold turkey at 12 months but it really sounded impossible. How would she fall asleep without 6 oz of milk? The trick was to wait until she goes through a really sleepy phase. This week she started getting sleepy at 6:15 instead of her usual 7:30, so I took the cue and laid her down with an empty bottle and her paci, and it worked! Every time I offer her milk in a sippy cup but she refuses.
We’re 3 days deep now and there’s no turning back. I can’t believe we did it!! No more hand washing tiny bottle parts 2x a day!
