baby bag upgrade

14 months later, I have added an alternate to my tried and true Kate Spade diaper bag.  No doubt, that bag was/is absolutely perfect and served us well over the past year.  But sometimes a backpack style is preferable, like yesterday when I lugged a carseat, wedding gift, baby and diaper bag 5 blocks to our rental zipcar.  (I decided a stroller would be too much so I packed it all on my body like a mule.)

So last week when we were in Capitola on my birthday, I saw this Quicksilver backpack and heard a ding ding ding! over my head.  It was perfect.  Neutral colors, striped, and doesn’t scream “put diapers in me!”  Not that the Kate Spade doesnt get out there still, but it’s nice to have a cute alternative.

Pleasantly surprised by the Marmot sale on RueLaLa this morning!  Mummybag and vest – I’ll see you soon.  And all before Josh even wakes up… Muahhahahahaha!

Dress Me.

I am in DIRE need of a wardrobe update.  Nothing fits right and it’s all just feeling old.  How cute is this outfit from Kendi Everyday?

Liberty of London for Target

I’m sure you’ve heard.  Liberty of London has partnered with Target and will be available March 14th.  I feel like half of the patterns are annoying, but the other half is RAD.  Last summer Target partnered with Orla Kiely but it seems like all the good stuff was gone in a day or two and I clearly missed the bus.  Not this time!

Collage above found here.

Ruche

Have you heard of it?  Super cute clothes, mostly all under $50.  It’s like Forever 21 and Anthropologie had a love child.  Go!

Day Dreaming…

I have no use for this but am adding it to my Christmas Wish List anyway.

obsessed.

I got this circle scarf at the american apparel on Haight St. a few days ago and it has become my new best friend.  So many ways to wear it (the capelet is my fave, but I couldn’t find a good pic on their site) and it really does keep me warm.  Excited to bring it on our cruise next weekend!

Thanks to my stylish sister for introducing me to them!

Want.  From here.
